The Steinway Society “Divas In Concert Reboot” Orlando Museum Of Art Featuring Ms. Jacqueline Jones

BY JIMMIE WILLIAMS

ORLANDO – Also featuring Carol Stein, Michelle Mailhot, Michelle Amato and Suzy Park, “Divas in Concert Reboot.” It’s was a cocktail attire with a light supper buffet and my favorite, a cash bar. Lol! The Steinway Society celebrated its 16th anniversary of serving the region with piano lessons and pianos for disadvantaged children in Central Florida. I know that the Steinway organization would like to thank to all of their sponsors for their partnership with this year’s event which was a great success. In attendance was Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, Orlando City Commissioner Regina I. Hill and Orlando City Soccer Kay Rawlins (Vice President of Community Relations, Orlando City Soccer Club; President, Orlando City Foundation), Zita Steglich-Ross, Diann Williams, Brenda March, Orange County School Board Vicki-Elaine Felder District 5, Chester Glover and a host of others. The evening was full of excitement, great fun and entertainment. It was a spectacular occasion watching the divas take the stage. If you were there to be entertained, you got what you were looking for. Steinway had two of their kids perform in front of a full house with standing room only. The kids were honored with a Grand Piano of their own. This is how you keep the art alive. We will see you next year at the 17th anniversary of “The Steinway Society” celebration.
