ORLANDO – On Friday, March 29, members of The Hope Church of Orlando will present the essence of Easter in a stage play produced by Associate Pastor Virginia Whittington, titled “Communion to Calvary: The Last Day with Christ.”
The Good Friday experience aims to help attendees examine and expand their faith while reflecting on God’s sacrificial gift for all humanity. Church members will re-enact the Last Supper and other events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and ultimately His resurrection on Easter Sunday.
First produced in 2009, the revival of “Communion to Calvary: The Last Day with Christ” promises to live up to its awe-inspiring portrayal of the sacred path from communion to the profound significance of Christ’s crucifixion at Calvary.
The event is Friday, March 29, from 7–9 p.m. at The Hope Event Center located at 3032 Monte Carlo Trail, Orlando, Fla. 32805.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite. This is a ticketed event and tickets cost $20 Adults (16 and up), $10 Youth (6-15 years old), children 5 and under are free.
