Enrollment Deadline Nears To Ensure A Seat On The First Day Of School
ORANGE COUNTY – With the start of the 2023-24 school year just over two weeks away registering now is extremely important. If families want their child in school on the first day, Thursday, August 10, the registration deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 1. This will guarantee a seat in a classroom in time for meet the teacher and first-day scheduling. Currently, OCPS is projecting an increased enrollment for the 2023-24 school year at an estimated 209,000 students.
Families that have not yet enrolled their student(s) should:
- Contact their assigned school
- Reach out to Student Enrollment at 407.317.3233 or
- Visit https://appointments.ocps.net/ to schedule an appointment. *Appointments are required*
To assist in processing requests, Student Enrollment will remain open Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through the end of August.
If families are looking to transfer or take advantage of magnet and open enrollment or transfer options, applications are available and need to be submitted online.
