ORLANDO – Archbishop Allen Wiggins was recently honored by the Orlando Magic for his dedicated commitment in seeking equality for all.

On Friday, January 20, he was recognized by the team and its Champions of the Community partner, Florida Blue, as one of the Magic’s Diversity Game Changers. The special distinction has become a staple of every home game where the Magic selects one local leader to spotlight their efforts around social justice.

Archbishop Wiggins is the senior pastor of The Hope Church and Hope Center West in Orlando. His passion and pursuits for change have resulted in the creation of affordable and attainable housing, economic development and enhanced educational offerings for inner-city children. In addition to being celebrated for his work, Archbishop Wiggins was gifted with a personalized jersey from the Orlando Magic. He attended the Jan. 20 game alongside his wife, daughter and one of his three sons.
