Dr. Yancey is passionate about teaching society – those on both sides of the racism issue – how to have collaborative conversations about it without arguing.  He currently works with churches and high schools, and provides training videos on how to engage in conversations that allow people to express themselves but at the same time listen to others.  He believes that by starting with the Christianity approach, people will start to reach out to have the healthy conversations with non-Christians too.  Instead of ignoring racial differences, everyone will try to comprehend and find a common ground.

Throughout his career Dr. Yancey published research articles on the topics of institutional racial diversity, racial identity, atheists, cultural progressives, academic bias and anti-Christian hostility. His books include Beyond Racial Gridlock (Intervarsity Press); Transcending Racial Barriers (Oxford University Press) and Beyond Racial Division (InterVarsity Press).
