Matthew 18:20 – “When two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.
EATONVILLE – The Central Florida Black Nurses Association of Orlando, Inc. (CFBNA) worshiped together at Life Center Church in Eatonville on February 9. 2025 to commemorate Black History Month. In attendance were 12 CFBNA members who were introduced to the church and welcomed by Pastor Cornell King and First Lady, Veronica King. Pastor King delivered a rousing sermon reminding us to remain steady with God in the face of today’s unsteady times. Whatever happens politically in Washington D.C., we must stay strong in HIS word and commandments. Two quotes from his sermon – “Don’t just tell the story (about God), give God the glory”. “Spend less time on Facebook and more time with your face in the Book”.
CFBNA enjoyed an inspirational church service with many “Amens”, and joining in with familiar songs.
Every year, in celebration of Black History Month, CFBNA visits a church together as a demonstration of spiritual solidarity and to remind our community that we are here to help them navigate the health care system.
CFBNA of Orlando, Inc. is a non-profit professional organization that advocates for nurses and serves the community by offering health education and working towards health equity.
