KISSIMMEE – The City of Kissimmee’s School of Government is now accepting new students for their nine-week session starting on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
This civic education program is an interactive way of learning about the City’s form of government and provides a firsthand look at the City’s operations. One of the goals of this program is to set the foundation for residents who are interested in becoming more involved in the City.
The City of Kissimmee is currently seeking about 30 students to participate in this nine-week course that ends with graduation on Wednesday, June 14. Each class starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs through 8:00 p.m.
Anyone who lives, works, studies, or owns a business within the City of Kissimmee limits is eligible to participate. Participants must be at least 18-years-old. Due to space limitations, students are not allowed to bring a guest or children to classes.
