ORLANDO – The IT division of Core & Main, a national distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products, recently came together in Orlando to put a smile on the faces of children in the foster care system.

The team raised funds to purchase 18 brand new bikes, then assembled them during their annual convention at Grand Bonnet Creek. The bikes – and accompanying helmets – were delivered to the Embrace Families West Orange Service Center.

As the lead nonprofit agency overseeing child welfare services across Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, Embrace Families’ key objective is providing as much “normalcy” as possible for children who are part of Central Florida’s foster care system.

This donation was made possible by Core & Mains CIO and Embrace Families Board Member, Carrie Busbee, who worked closely with Embrace Families Director of Community Engagement, Morgan Donovan, and West Orange’s Executive Director, Nikki Riggsbee, to coordinate the delivery and distribution of bicycles.
