ORLANDO – Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law alumnus Pierre Ifill hosted a fundraising event called Spring Into Giving in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, April 8.
“I encourage everyone to give back to FAMU Law,” said Ifill. “Giving back helps build the endowment, provides scholarships, provides better training, better resources, and better clinics so our students can be very well prepared for the challenges they will face when they graduate from FAMU Law.”
College of law supporters, stakeholders, alumni and friends came out to support FAMU Law.
“We are thankful to Pierre Ifill for hosting us in his home and for his generous $25,000 donation to FAMU Law,” said Dean Deidré Keller. “Alumni support is a vital part of our fundraising efforts.”
Ifill is an experienced civil trial attorney who seeks justice for clients seeking accountability and monetary relief for damages sustained at the hands of another. He represents clients on a broad range of issues including but not limited to business disputes, employment matters, and commercial real estate transactions. Ifill received his undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and his Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law.
“It is very important to give back financially to FAMU Law because without these resources our student body is at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to our other counterparts in the legal profession,” said Ifill.
