ORLANDO – On Monday, May 6th, at 6:30 pm, the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (FRRC) will partner with the University of Central Florida, FAMU Law, and local community leaders to host a forum with the candidates running in the special election for the Orlando City Council’s 5th district. All of the declared candidates for the race have told FRRC they will participate in the candidate forum.
“This is an important forum for our community,” said FRRC Executive Director Desmond Meade. “The people of Orlando will benefit from an open conversation with the candidates concerning issues like jobs, housing, and public safety. We are looking forward to the conversation.”
