CENTRAL FLORIDA – Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) continues to find innovative ways to expand its mission of creating jobs to provide employment skills training to Central Floridians in need of assistance.
The organization recently became a new partner with Public Allies Central Florida (PACF), a local AmeriCorps program dedicated to advancing social justice by engaging diverse young leaders in public service. GICF hired Jaide Howard and Rejina St. Cyr as part of the Goodwill Connects team. Over the next 10 months, Jai and Rejina will focus on developing a referral network to address some of the key needs that are phoned into Goodwill’s resource hotline. They will also be learning how to become emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector.
