SANFORD – Crooms Academy/High School Alumni and Friends,
It is that time of year to organize and plan for our upcoming Grand Reunion in the City of Sanford from December 27-30, 2023. Are you planning to be here with us? We are so excited and looking forward to a fun filled four days of laughter, singing, praying, dancing, eating and just hanging out together as we did back in the day. We hope you are making plans to be here for this grand celebration of all of our classes with family and friends. The full four days will cost you only $150, and guess what? We take partial payments in $20 increments until it is paid.
When I look back over the past several years, I see that we have lost many classmates who always participated and looked forward to being here. So many of our friends have gone on and we will miss them dearly. What is your reason for not registering when you have the opportunity to once again, sit down with those who you enjoyed so much back in the day?
This reunion is open to anyone who ever attended Crooms or have friends who attended and just want to participate or come to have some fun. We are not the young bucks we use to be, but does that mean we have forgotten how to laugh and relax with one another? Please register by November 5, so we know how to plan and know the numbers to include for each activity. I heard some people say, “I did not attend Crooms, but I do want to participate because you all seem to have so much fun when you get together.” The planning committee says, “Then, come along and enjoy.”
Our committee is large and has been working hard to make this one of the best reunions yet. We are planning for a souvenir booklet and if you would like to send a full page photo, print ready for our souvenir booklet, please do so. The cost is $100. A half page is $50. I cannot begin to tell you how excited we are to plan for you and the most disappointing part would be if you do not come.

Thursday- December 28, 2023 Games (cards, dominoes, surprises), Banquet- Lake Mary Event Center- 6:00-10:30pm (Formal/Semi Affair) 260 North Country Club Road, Lake Mary, FL.
Friday- December 29, 2023 10:30am departure from SunRail @ 2808-2838 West First Street to Winter Park 2:30pm return, Sock Hop-6:00pm (wear jeans, poodle skirts, box skirts or dress of the time)
Saturday- December 30, 2023: Parade- 10am from Coastline on 9th Street to Crooms. (Please, we ask that classes, churches, organizations, bands, etc. will participate), Pep Rally, Fish Fry and games.
