SANFORD – The heart of Goldsboro comes alive with creativity and community spirit during the First Historic Goldsboro Main Street Art Walk on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2 – 6 p.m. at Olive Ave and Shepherd Streets in Sanford. This free fun family-friendly event invites everyone to stroll through Main Street and experience the vibrant history, talent and culture that make Goldsboro truly unique.

The event sponsored by Historic Goldsboro Main Street, the Goldsboro Front Porch and City of Sanford District 2 Commissioner Kerry S. Wiggins Sr. will start at 2 p.m. with an opening ceremony and history presentation by Dr. Velma H. Williams, Co, Chairman Historic Goldsboro Main Street, and Consultant Goldsboro Front Porch, and Mr. Kenneth Bentley, Chairman Historic Goldsboro Main Street. The Art Walk will feature local artists, art displays, music, performances, raffles and much more. Media members are invited to attend the opening ceremony.
