Hope Cares Spreads Holiday Cheer To Community Organizations

ORLANDO – Hope Cares, the community service initiative affiliated with Orlando’s Hope Church, recently put the season of giving into action. The ministry and its community collected warm blankets and more than a thousand pairs of socks for two local organizations that serve the unhoused and elderly members of our community and pajamas, socks and personal items for those coming out of abusive relationships.

During The Big Give at The Hope Church on Sunday, Dec. 18, the Christian Service Center and Guardian Care Nursing Home received the donated socks and blankets. Stand Up Survivor received pajamas, socks and personal items.  Hope Cares also partnered with Legends Academy to spread holiday cheer. In their art classes, students were tasked with making holiday cards for residents and staff at Guardian Care Nursing Home.

Although this event has wrapped up, there are still several ways to support the Greater Orlando community. Hope Cares is always accepting donations through The Hope Church and its campus partner Frontline Outreach, one of Orlando’s oldest urban youth and community organizations.
