ORLANDO – Howard Brown has been named chief financial officer (CFO) for the Orlando Health South Central Region, which includes Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital. Mr. Brown has nearly two decades of progressive financial healthcare experience, strategic planning, and budgeting and forecasting proficiency. In this role, which he begins August 29, 2022, he will provide financial expertise, monitor daily operating expenses, and develop key performance indicators.

“Prior to joining Orlando Health, Mr. Brown’s career included six years at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center as CFO. Previously, he was CFO for North Shore Medical Center in Miami, and financial controller for St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. Early in his career, Mr. Brown was senior auditor for two public accountant firms.
Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
