TAVARES – Alan Hays, Lake County Supervisor of Elections reports certification of the Post-Election Voting System Audit by the 2024 Canvassing Board for the Primary Election.
All races within 19 randomly selected precincts were chosen for the automated independent audit.
The certification of the audit indicated 100% accuracy without any indication of a problem or discrepancy.
“Once again, the professionalism of our team of dedicated election professionals is upheld through the accuracy and certification of the Post-Election Voting System Audit. The public can have confidence that elections held in Lake County are accurate as well as transparent,” commented Hays. “I want to urge those who have lingering questions or doubt to schedule a facility tour to learn first-hand the facts of election administration,” further commented Hays.
