LAKE COUNTY – Alan Hays was sworn in on Monday for his 3rd term as Lake County’s Supervisor of Elections. Judge Michael Takac officiated the swearing in ceremony at the Lake County Supervisor of Elections office amid applause from Hays’ team of election professionals.
Since taking office in 2017 Alan Hays has served the Supervisor of Elections office with distinction earning accolades from his peers and voters alike. Over the past 8 years he has modernized election equipment, enhanced security measures, and built a team voters can trust to administer elections in Lake County.
“I am once again privileged to serve our community as Supervisor of Elections and proud to lead a championship team of professionals” stated Hays. “Lake County voters have put their trust in me and they can be assured that our office remains true to the commitments my team and I made 8 years ago; Voter Confidence, Excellent Service, Accurate and Efficient Elections and Responsible Financial Stewardship” further commented Supervisor Hays.
