On Wednesday afternoon, team members from Senior Resource Alliance (SRA) – Central Florida’s Area Agency on Aging – gathered to pack cold weather kits for local seniors in need. More than $22,000 worth of supplies – including gloves, blankets and other cold weather essentials – were packed in the kits, which will be distributed to seniors in Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Brevard counties over the next two weeks. Some kits will be delivered on Christmas with warm meals provided by Meals on Wheels.
