KISSIMMEE –The City of Kissimmee will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Celebration on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Kissimmee Lakefront Park Festival Lawn, located at 201 Lakeview Drive, Kissimmee, FL 34741. This free and public event offers an opportunity for the community to come together and honor the life and enduring legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
The celebration will include live musical performances by Velvet Groove, and attendees will be able to engage with local artisans and businesses through various community vendors. A special KUA Kids Power Zone will provide youth-focused activities designed to promote fun and learning. A selection of food vendors will also be available throughout the event.
This year’s event is made possible through the support of Kissimmee Utility Authority, Toho Water Authority, NAACP Osceola County, the Black Empowerment & Community Council, and Star 94.5.
Free public parking will be available at the following locations:
- Toho Square Parking Garage (92 Pleasant St.)
- Kissimmee Intermodal Parking Garage (205 E. Dakin Ave.), adjacent to the Kissimmee Civic Center
- ADA Parking will be located in the Toho Marina Overflow Lot (69 Lakeview Dr.)
