LEESBURG – The Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration (MLKCC) Committee of Leesburg’s Days of Service Committee presented both Leesburg High School and Leesburg Elementary School with $500. Friday, November 19, 2023.
The Days of Service Committee supports local schools by providing funds to help with projects for students, faculty and staff.
“What we do as a committee is so much needed in our community, especially supporting schools who help develop productive citizens of our country,” said Debra Wanza Dabney, Co-Chairperson the Days of Service Committee.
Days of Service Committee members include Donja Brown, Linda Cunningham, Charlene Lacey, Martha Mitchell, Ashley Rachel, and Carolyn Samuel.
