ORLANDO – “I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to have my daughter by my side throughout this journey. Sharing that hug on stage after we were both hooded, surrounded by our professors, colleagues, and our supportive family, felt like a dream. I only wish my mom could have been there to witness it all in person, although I am sure she was there in spirit. From becoming a mom at 15 and earning my GED, to graduating undergrad together in 2020 and now law school – it’s a journey beyond belief.
