ORLANDO – The Celebration of the Arts, an esteemed annual event hosted by the Orlando Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, is set to captivate audiences on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The event will take place at the Orlando Museum of Art.

Showcasing the diverse talents of Central Florida’s youth in visual, performing, and digital arts; this event stands as a cornerstone of the national Artist Noir programming. Embracing the Artist Noir concept, the Orlando Chapter has pioneered two signature initiatives: “Linked in Creativity” and the “Links Arts Mentorship Program” (LAMP). Initiated in 2013 with the support of the Orlando Mayor’s Matching Grant, Linked in Creativity aims to foster artistic expression among local youth. As a testament to our commitment to community service, this event is free to the public.

This year marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our event. We are proud to recognize the generous support of our sponsors, including McCoy Federal Credit Union, Valley Bank, and Starbucks.

The Celebration of the Arts will feature two major components. First, the Chapter sponsored a local Poster Art Contest centered around the theme of “Link Up The Vote: Voting Matters.” Voter education workshops held at Jones High School and the Walt Disney Boys and Girls Club led to the submission of 18 remarkable artworks by students. These pieces will be showcased during the event, with winners announced live. The first-place winner will have the opportunity to compete in the national contest hosted by The Links, Incorporated.

In addition to the student art displays, the event will dazzle attendees with performances by over 40 talented youths in music (vocal and instrumental), dance, oratorical, and digital arts. From a soulful violinist to captivating classical ballet and dynamic jazz ensembles, the Celebration of the Arts promises an unforgettable showcase of talent.

Anticipating a “sold-out” crowd of at least 250 guests, the organization is thrilled to welcome attendees to an evening of creativity, inspiration, and community celebration.
