ORLANDO – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has announced the appointment of Michelle McCrimmon as Chief Financial Officer for the City of Orlando following the transition of Chris McCullion as he departs from the organization to serve as the Orlando Utilities Commission’s new Chief Financial Officer.

“With almost 30 years of experience, including 13 years with the City and more than 16 years in public accounting, Michelle is well qualified for the CFO role and will provide continuity of executive financial expertise for the city,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.  “I look forward to working with Michelle in her new role.”

“There are significant demands for city resources to respond to the tremendous growth that Orlando is experiencing as well as the need to maintain and improve our existing infrastructure,” said Michelle McCrimmon, City of Orlando Chief Financial Officer. “This will require prudent spending as well as seeking new funding sources, especially for our large transformative projects.  It’s an honor and a privilege to be offered the position of Chief Financial Officer. I look forward to my new role and continuing to work with my city team to continue to deliver exceptional public service in a knowledgeable, responsible and fiscally responsible manner.”
