Orlando Woman Competing In Fab Over 40 Contest

ORLANDO – From walking the pageant runway to crowning queens, Anissa King aka “Queenmaker” has had many adventures in her life. Now she wants to capture the crown and add Fab Over 40 contest winner to the list.

The Orlando corporate executive, entrepreneur, publicist, and community advocate is competing against women across the world in the Fab Over 40 contest, which comes with $40,000 in cash, a 2-page spread in NewBeauty magazine, and a luxury spa-cation for 2 in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to the Fab Over 40 contest website.

The Fab Over 40 contest showcases remarkable women over 40, who excel in looking and feeling their best while making a positive impact in their communities. It’s all about showing the world that age is just a number, and fabulousness knows no bounds.

What makes this contest even more wonderful is that it supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization that helps with early detection, education, and support for breast cancer. Fab Over 40 is not just a contest; it’s a celebration of beauty, confidence, and the amazing things women can achieve at any age.

King, 42, confirmed that she found out about the contest through social media and found it to be a good fit as she has been evaluated for breast cancer twice and is a longtime supporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

King said she’s up against incredible women who are all fabulous in their own right, but believes the contest is more about devotion and passion to the cause and fundraising than looks. She added it would be “phenomenal” if she won.

“I believe in finishing what I start. I’m a confident leader who aspires to build other prominent leaders. As the Founder of the Ms. Corporate America Organization, I’m passionate about women empowerment and claiming our seat at the table, while bringing value to the table once seated.”

“It would be an amazing honor to win the title of Fab Over 40 2023 and be amongst powerhouse women who have been featured in NewBeauty magazine. It also provides the opportunity to be a role model for young girls with big dreams.”

“I will use the prize funds awarded to grow my non-profit that provides resources and services to the homeless population, expand and market my for-profit business, that empowers professional women across America, and donate to charities within the community that support women and children.”
