ORLANDO – On February 17, more than $115,000 was raised at the annual OUC Charity Golf Tournament held at the Shingle Creek Golf Club. This brings the event’s all-time contributions to more than $1 million since its inception in 1995.
All charitable tournament donations support nonprofit agencies in Orange and Osceola counties devoted to improving Central Florida through the areas of social impact, economic development, educational outreach and environmental stewardship.
“We’re deeply honored to stand alongside these remarkable organizations, each leaving an indelible mark on Central Florida,” said Linda Ferrone, OUC’s Chief Customer & Marketing Officer. “OUC has always worked to take care of those we serve. Along with our sponsors and tournament participants, it’s our privilege to continue a lasting legacy of supporting local organizations that provide meaningful services.”
Four nonprofits were awarded donations:
- HANDS, Housing and Neighborhood Development Services of Central Florida
- Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge
- The Cloud Family Foundation
- Asian American Chamber of Commerce
