The Breakfast Corner, Al’s Food Store & Jimmie Drop D Williams Presented The 10th Annual Easter Celebration

BY JIMMIE WILLIAMS

ORLANDO – When you put people first, God will put you first. He helps those who help themselves. A closed mouth don’t get fed. Some of you will get it on the way home. Lol! If you want God’s blessings, you must bless someone else. Well here we are at the 10th Annual Easter Celebration in partnership with The Breakfast Corner, Al’s Food Store, The Orlando Times newspaper, Stadium Stylz Cutz, Windom Solutions, We Hot Sound, Shonda Seawright, Ms. Maria with her family and Mr. Donte Collins. Look, don’t tell anybody about what I am about to share with you, ok! Well here goes. I went to the grocery store to get the hotdogs for the event, but I was in a hurry and not paying attention. I grabbed sausages instead of hotdogs. When I got to the counter I said to myself, “this seems to be a high price for hotdogs. Nonetheless I got them and left the store just as happy as I could be. The day of the event all the volunteers and vendors were happy about the hotdogs being served. I was like I’m happy that they are enjoying those hotdogs. I eventually realized that they were eating sausages. I was like where did y’all get those sausages? They said from you Mr. Williams, you bought them. Lol! Anyway the Easter celebration was awesome. A big thanks goes out to the man on the B-B-Q grill, Mr. Tirrell Glover, our new supporters Ms. Candice Full, Ms. Adonica Gray and Ms. Sabrina Walker. Thanks to our volunteers and the Central Florida Black Nurses Association for helping us make this a great event for the Parramore Community in Districts 5 and 6. My wife and I had a great time. We sang a song for the residents. Oh yes we did a song by Mr. Barry White called “Practice What You Preach.” We nailed it and you don’t have to believe me just go to my Facebook page Jimmie Williams (Drop D) and see for yourselves. Lol! Watch the video and leave a comment let us know what you think. I overheard one lady asking another lady, “What y’all doing out here?”  The lady replied, “Chill you know Mr. Williams always doing something and how do you tell him no!” They both looked at me and started laughing. Then they went on to say that my wife and I are always trying to do good in the neighborhood. I just smiled and said thank you my Father God for your blessings. Ok y’all I’ll see you all next year at the 2024 Easter celebration. Don’t Meet Me There, Beat Me There!
