ORLANDO – I attended a meeting at Guardian Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in February of 2023 and at the end of the meeting, the Executive Director, Eloise Abrahams, RN, LNHA asked me if I would open the Wi-Fi Café at Guardian Care. I said to her I would pray about it, so I did knowing that it would make a difference in the residents and the lives of the employees by having a few snacks to purchase at an affordable price. So, I asked Betty Clark to come and work with me and she cheerfully said yes. It means so much to me to volunteer at Guardian Care where my sister resides. Betty and I contribute our time without financial gain. Volunteering is all about, being able to contribute some of my own time to help other people here at Guardian Care. I also get to pray for the staff with administrative tasks. Betty Clarke and I have raised over $1,000.00 for the residents to enjoy a special evening.

God bless you Eloise Abrahams and your entire staff, you are making a difference in the community, Love, Ida Johnson.

Colossians 3:23-24 – Whatever y do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive an inheritance as your reward.
