Better than Biggie Smalls! He taught me everything from being a man to the importance of hard work & perseverance. How to listen and to always do the right thing even when it is hard. Melody his second granddaughter states: Poppa always tells a story about when I was in 5th grade and didn’t get into the gifted & talented program. He reminded me that that program wasn’t the end goal, and that I could still achieve my goals even with this rejection. He showed me that even through rejection, I could never fail because my determination and perseverance is what makes me special.
