ORLANDO – Now you know Jimmie Williams didn’t have one sneaker on his feet. Lol! Maybe some red Gators shoes. Lol! Let me stop playing around. The Charity Sneaker Ball was a great success. My wife and I enjoyed every moment. Charity Sneaker Ball was a fundraiser for a Christmas time bike giveaway. Uncle Al is one of the DJ’s of We Hot Sound Co. We Hot Sound have donated their time and equipment to community events. When you look at the pictures you can see Uncle Al in a wheelchair. Uncle Al has been giving back to the communities for years. Uncle Al told his family that he still wanted to host the Charity Sneaker Ball. He said that the kids are going to be looking for shoes from Uncle Al and We Hot Sound for Christmas. Uncle Al’s wife, Ms. Lacretia Figgins, said, “that this was a great idea my husband started so he wanted us to keep it going, so here we are making it happen on his behalf and I am so proud of him wanting to give back to the community.” Uncle Al daughter, Ms. Jackay Patterson, did a beautiful job on decorating the Callahan Neighborhood Center for the Charity Sneaker Ball. I asked Uncle Al what’s next on the agenda for him and We Hot Sound, he said, “Mr. Jimmie Williams I am planning on being out here in the community with you.” Well I started laughing, because I wouldn’t have it any other way. We Hot Sound, Uncle Al, Ms. Lacretia Figgins and Ms. Jackay Patterson worked together bringing “The Charity Sneaker Ball” to the community. I hope to see you at this year’s Christmas bike giveaway in December 2023. To donate to “We Hot Sound Co.” just Google them. Don’t Meet Me There, Beat Me There!
