WINTER PARK – The Brothers of Delta Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and its Hankins Johnson Education Foundation, Inc., hosted the 2023 Young Men of Distinction (YMOD) mentoring program end of year breakfast Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at the Mead Botanical Gardens in Winter Park, FL. In addition to recognizing outstanding performers in the youth mentoring program, four scholarships were awarded to high school seniors. Dyllon Houghton of East Ridge HS, Christopher Goodwin of Wekiva HS, Donnell Grimes of Ocoee HS, and Darraus Cooper of Jones HS were the scholarship recipients during the breakfast. Thanks to our sponsors, partners, and supporters, our foundation has awarded $33,000 in scholarships this year.
